A chiropractor is a health care professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular & musculoskeletal disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine and tissues. Chiropractors seek to reduce pain and improve the functionality of patients as well as to educate them on how they can account for their own health via exercise, ergonomics and other therapies to treat all sorts of conditions.

For many conditions, chiropractic treatment can restore the structural integrity of the spine, relax the surrounding soft tissue structures, reduce pressure on the sensitive neurological tissue, and consequently improve the health of the individual.

Domino Chiropractic PLLC believes that through chiropractic care, we get to the root issue of what is causing our patient's pain. We take the hands-on approach to deal with pain. Here, we use an integrated chiropractic approach to helping our patient's not only get relief from their pain, but go as far as to make sure that their cause of pain is uprooted.

Dr. Henson is not only a chiropractor, but also a certified athletic trainer and massage therapist. Therefore, he believes in transformation of the whole body by the use of chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue manipulation (massage, cupping, scraping, dry needling, hypervolt, etc.), and rehabilitation. That by getting the muscles that attach to the skeletal system to relax, then using chiropractic adjustments to align the skeletal system, followed by rehabilitation to stabilize and support, the body can then function in its most optimal state.

Athletic trainers are health care workers who diagnose and treat those who have sustained injuries to their muscles and bones. They also teach others how to prevent injuries and help with ergonomics. Dr. Henson grew up in the small town of Boling, TX and attended Boling High School. Prior to graduating from Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Henson received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Texas State University. After graduating, he worked at Houston Baptist University as an athletic trainer for the football and golf teams. After sending his athletes to the sports chiropractor downtown, he was able to see the outcomes that chiropractic care had on his athletes that were dealing with back pains and other issues. These outcomes intrigued Dr. Henson into researching more about chiropractic care and how it could benefit his athletes. Not long after, he made his way to a campus visit at Texas Chiropractic College in 2017, and is now a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2021.

Dr. Henson has worked with elite sports teams like arena football and semi-pro soccer. He has also worked with collegiate football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, sand volleyball, baseball, softball, cheer, and tennis.

One of Dr. Henson’s favorite things about chiropractic is that he gets to help and care for other people. He loves getting to wake up each and every day knowing that he has been given the knowledge and ability to help people with their pain, whether it is physical or emotional. The best part of his day is to see a person that walked through the doors with pain, and walked out with a smile.

In his time off, Dr. Henson enjoys working out, whether it is at a CrossFit gym, the local gym like Texans Fit or Anytime Fitness, or just going on long runs through the town of Boling. Along with working out, he enjoys going mountain biking with his dog Oliver (Jack Russell Terrier). Recently, Dr. Henson has picked up boxing as his new hobby. While he does not have any children at this time, he considers his dog (Oliver) and his cockatiel (Penelope) to be his children.
